Well Guys what can i say. Took the exam and only got 675 so thats a fail.

As to the content of the exam i have to say it is one of the hardest microsoft exams i have taken. 90% of the questions were regarding IIS and ASP.NET.

Application Pools and security were very difficult. Long questions with multipul answers.

I was very suprised to get only one question on MPS. My advise to anybody think about taking the exam is to study on the following areas.

- IIS Security, setting premissions on web sites and application pools also the troubleshooting of application pools.

- ASP.NET 1.1 and 2.0 maily troubleshooting regarding "service unavalible" errors. Also Upgrading ASP.NET applications.

- Backup settings for IIS, Clustering and NLB. Most of the questing are related to hosting 2000+ web sites in a single cluster. 

- SQL failing database and disaster recovery.

Hope that information helps any takeing the exam. Please let me know if anyone has had different experiances. I plan to retake the exam soon and will post more comments near the time.

Thanks for the information. Can you provide me any study link where I can study the same. I need to pass the exam by the end of January and desperate to see how this help me to get good possition in Hosting Industry.

 What do think about the exam? It worth to spend money behind this, will help a MCP to achieve something with new certification.

   Mentioned in a previous post a request for the same. Unfortunataly i could not find any trainning either the only infomation avalible is here http://www.microsoft.com/learning/exams/70-501.mspx . Please be aware i my oppinion its a hard exam and you need experiance with iis more so than is stated in the ubove link. AAs for the achievement you will get MCTS upon completion (Microsoft Certified Technology  Specialist in Hosting).
