Background
I started my professional career in the U.S. Marine Corps where I was first a computer operator (4034) working on mainframes and then a Small Systems Computer Specialist (4066) working on Windows 3.11, Windows 95, and Lotus Notes Domino. After the Marine Corps, I worked on a project called Marine Corps Online (MCO) which was a web portal for the Marine Corps using Microsoft Commercial Internet System (MCIS) and Microsoft Site Server.
I joined Microsoft and moved to Redmond, Washington where created the Microsoft Web Admin Tool which was a web-based tool to provision and manage multi-tenant Active Directory for Hosted Exchange and Hosted SharePoint. This was replaced by my first official product called the Microsoft Provisioning System (MPS) which was a multi-tenant provisioning system for Hosted Exchange, Hosted SharePoint, and Hosted CRM.
Over the years, I've worked at different companies and took on different roles. I've been a program manager, product manager, Director of Service Delivery, and Chief Executive Officer. All while broadening my skills and knowledge in technology, business, sales, marketing and leadership.
I've also had tremendous leaders, managers, and peers that I've learned a great deal from and provided me amazing opportunies. Including spending time with Bill Gates showing him my creation (Web Admin Tool), I've spoke at major events like Microsoft TechEd, I've been published in a magazine and contributed to a book.
