My focus on the product is on the Infrastructure and Developer scenarios for the products. To include areas such as Administration, Management, Security, Operations, and fun areas like Virtualization, SAML, etc.

  • Led the Accelrys Cloud Operations virtual team focused on delivering Accelrys cloud applications through common standards and technologies spanning multiple product teams. This includes infrastructure, agreements (Privacy Policy, Security Standards, and Service Level Agreements), security standards, user experiences, and business experiences.
  • Define product roadmap for flagship product Accelrys Enterprise Platform to target broader enterprise growth and breadth adoption through Cloud Computing and Virtualization.
  • Transition of all Accelrys on premise products to Cloud Computing, Hosting, and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business and deployment models.
  • Developed mobile solution leveraging Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Windows Phone 7, and Accelrys Pipeline Pilot allowing greater accessibility to science.
  • Delivered the identity management roadmap across all products and services focused on Active Directory, SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect for Enterprise and Cloud Services.

Develop Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Solution Offering based on Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows 7, Microsoft Hyper-V, and System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2008. Architect and deliver solutions based on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and Microsoft Search Server 2008 using Microsoft SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio for workflow customizations.

  • Enable Independent Software Vendors to transition from packaged products to Software as a Service through analysis and guidance of their application built on Microsoft Dynamics CRM and infrastructure architectures via hosted services.
  • Planned multi-year budget and capital expenditure by collaborating with leadership.
  • Develop Web Applications based on ASP.NET, Model-View-Controller (MVC), Linq, Entity Framework, ASP.NET Dynamic Data, and ASP.NET AJAX.

  • Led the planning and design phases of the Microsoft Provisioning System product which included the cross-group collaboration and coordination of multiple groups throughout Microsoft and external vendors. Delivered the vision for the program manager, developers, testers and user assistance teams.
  • Architected a multi-tenant Active Directory structure that supported a multi-reseller and multi-customer structure within a single Active Directory domain.
  • Designed the Delegated Administration Console for the Microsoft Provisioning System. The Delegated Administration Console provides a role-based web portal for managing Active Directory accounts, services and other tasks related to provisioning.
  • Provide numerous Microsoft Product groups (Active Directory, Internet Information Services, FrontPage/SharePoint Team Services, Server Appliance Kit, and Exchange) with knowledge based guidance on customer requirements, customer deployments of their products and ideas on enhancing to better fit the customers’ needs.
  • Delivered security reviews within the Windows Server and Exchange Server product teams. Security Reviews included thread modeling, access controls, secure authentication & authorization, SQL injection, and cross-site scripting.
  • Developed a training kit for the Microsoft Field and partners to train customers in deploying and customizing the Microsoft Provisioning System.

Network Specialist/Technology Specialist

  • Created, designed, developed and shipped the Microsoft Web Admin Tool, which is a web based tool that provisions Active Directory, Exchange 2000, Internet Information 6, FrontPage 2000 and Windows 2000 DNS services in a multi-tenant architecture.
  • Coordinated, developed content and delivered the Microsoft Office Online workshop to 15 Global ASP Customers and Partners. The workshop educated Microsoft’s partners and customers on how to use Microsoft Windows 2000 and Office 2000 to deploy a hosted Microsoft Office solution using Terminal Services.
  • Developed and presented workshops throughout the United States on designing and deploying Microsoft Windows 2000, Active Directory, Internet Information Services 5.0 and other Microsoft technologies for use by a Service Provider.
  • Managed technical relationships and provided architectural guidance on Microsoft products and technologies to Service Provider accounts worldwide and Microsoft product groups.
